3 Years of Wedded Bliss & a Guest

Kellan & I just celebrated our three year wedding anniversary & while we didn't do too much (we skipped school & just chilled) it was exactly what we needed. This year & semester has been so incredibly busy so a day just to spend time together, grab some authentic Mexican tacos and chill at home was perfect.

Tuesday I made a Japanese floral arrangement that is holding up beautifully. I've been pretty bad in my goal of keeping fresh flowers in the house, but this class has definitely been helpful.

Thursday Paige got dropped off at the temple right as we were walking out & we ended up playing around at Costco while Kellan got his haircut. It was the longest haircut I think he's ever had. But also much needed.

Paige got a new boyfriend & she was so happy her foot popped.

Ah young love.
It was so much fun having Paige here with us & the two of us laughed like maniacs watching British comedians together. She also was a great sport & let Kellan & I use her as nerf gun target practice. & she sang Jamaican Inspector Man with us instead of Happy Birthday to Peter. What more can you ask of a house guest?

Disneyland Round 2

All I can say is Best. Birthday. Present. Ever. (& anniversary & Christmas)

& we had so so much fun with Leigh-Ann & Peter. Also all the foods. My goal for this was to eat my weight in yummy foods & I'm fairly positive I may have. I have no regrets.

He LOVED getting to wear the wait time badge.

Not so wise on an empty stomach.

Breakfast of champions.
I will forever remember the sound Peter made.

While Kellan & Leigh-Ann paid & waited in line to ride a broken elevator Peter & I made our way through Cars Land & California Screamin'. I didn't even have to try & convince him either!

I finally got my caramel apple!
Getting a sneak peek of The Good Dinosaur. It got me off my seat.
I was so sad to leave. But it was the best birthday I've ever had.

Exploring Provo & CO2 Lasers

Brigham got accepted into BYU so I suggested we make a video of everyone saying congrats to email him in Romania as a way of announcing it to him. Then we decided we could get some video footage of Provo & on campus to include in the video so he knows what we're saying congratulations for. So like the good siblings we are, we put it off until Sunday after church & then run around taking videos of things. They weren't that great of quality so they didn't make the cut but it was fun to get to run around.

We also hadn't made a real home cooked meals in an embarrassingly long time so we came home & made a festive chicken pot pie for dinner.

Later in the week we went to HeeHaw Farm with Camillia's family & had an absolute blast.

Biggest pumpkin I've ever seen in my life!

That weekend we traveled down to Vegas for Mom's birthday & because Johnny had graduated from his training and got a week off before his first post.

All the boys & Shelby watching Cinderella together.
We left the boys to their movie watching and Kellan & I went to mom's office where she proceeded to play around with her CO2 laser by removing some of Kellan's stubborn (we're talking like 5 years) warts and she frosted over a coldsore I had on my face! I was pretty concerned she was going to leave a scar or it was going to hurt like crazy & while it did pinch it was fairly painless and I'm happy to say there are no scars!

Kellan was absolutely fascinated & I think if they were at a better angle he would have done them himself.
