Exploring Provo & CO2 Lasers

Brigham got accepted into BYU so I suggested we make a video of everyone saying congrats to email him in Romania as a way of announcing it to him. Then we decided we could get some video footage of Provo & on campus to include in the video so he knows what we're saying congratulations for. So like the good siblings we are, we put it off until Sunday after church & then run around taking videos of things. They weren't that great of quality so they didn't make the cut but it was fun to get to run around.

We also hadn't made a real home cooked meals in an embarrassingly long time so we came home & made a festive chicken pot pie for dinner.

Later in the week we went to HeeHaw Farm with Camillia's family & had an absolute blast.

Biggest pumpkin I've ever seen in my life!

That weekend we traveled down to Vegas for Mom's birthday & because Johnny had graduated from his training and got a week off before his first post.

All the boys & Shelby watching Cinderella together.
We left the boys to their movie watching and Kellan & I went to mom's office where she proceeded to play around with her CO2 laser by removing some of Kellan's stubborn (we're talking like 5 years) warts and she frosted over a coldsore I had on my face! I was pretty concerned she was going to leave a scar or it was going to hurt like crazy & while it did pinch it was fairly painless and I'm happy to say there are no scars!

Kellan was absolutely fascinated & I think if they were at a better angle he would have done them himself.

Homecoming Week & the Wedding

This is our last Homecoming week here at BYU so we decided we should do as many of the activities as we possible could. We weren't able to go to the game or any of the dances because of my cousin Dillon's wedding but it was still lots of fun.

Tuesday's devotional was packed as we listened to the band, watched a video and a few skits and then at the very end, to everyone's surprise, out walked David Archuleta. The girls in the audience lost it. But it was so much fun.

Then Kellan begged that we go do the blue foam slide. I wasn't as thrilled but agreed to go and it was everything I feared it would be. I was freezing cold, had blue foam in places it had no business being and I'd landed on my tailbone hard on the way down. But Kellan was a giddy as a school boy.

I think it should go without saying, but it was not a fun car ride home. He did rinse off quite a bit before we got in the car but it still was pretty uncomfortable. We also stopped in the Wendy's Drive-thru & the person was completely unfazed.

Then that weekend we got ready & setup for Dillon's wedding!

The setup went on without too much of a hitch but the day of the food showed up and the wrong pork had been ordered. Hiram, Mark, Kingsley, Kellan & spent a good hour and a half straining out the pork from all the BBQ sauce to put them on sandwiches. It was definitely a labor of love and we barely finished in time for Hiram to give his groomsmen toast.

I'm basically the worst & have zero pictures but I did manage to snap some of our adorable nieces & nephews. So priorities.

Little Levi all full & sleepy at the luncheon.

Shelby had so much fun dancing & even got the bouquet after the toss! As in the first time it was thrown too short and she ran and grabbed it. & the second time the person holding her caught it & Shelb looked at her & then slowly grabbed it out of her hands.

Sunday Micah & Courtney stopped at our place on their way home and decided to stay the night with us so I got a little more Auntie-time with little Levi. Look at that cute little bum!

I also got a few creepy crawly decorations put up that evening & still scared myself on the way in the house on Monday. Almost fell down the freaking stairs.

Micah & Courtney also ended up sticking around till Monday & took Levi up to campus with us. I skipped my second class & we crashed Kellan's bowling class with a game of our own. It ended up being such a fun weekend.

Conference Weekend

I'm not gonna lie, coming back from Disneyland was probably the hardest thing I've ever done. It was a rough week. But we did finally get to play with some flowers in my floral design class and I arranged an Autumn bouquet that I was pretty proud of.

It was also Conference weekend & that was, as always, spectacular and so good. It also gave us some time to head up to Salt Lake and get started with some of the wedding things. We made these S'mores kits as party favors & I thought it would be so cute to have little tags that said "S'more love for later" but instead we stuck with the wedding suite of the blue florals and I love it.

We ended up making 200 so having my silhouette was a lifesaver. Also how cute is this gold foiled paper I found to make a little garland with?!

A twin egg!

Disneyland!

September was crazy because I started planning my cousin's wedding for October & because we made a 3 day trip with some besties to the happiest place on Earth!!

So this is just going to be a photo dump of some of the best days ever.

She's my favorite.

Two hours later I was still soaked so we picked up some
Disney sweats for me.
