Disneyland!

September was crazy because I started planning my cousin's wedding for October & because we made a 3 day trip with some besties to the happiest place on Earth!!

So this is just going to be a photo dump of some of the best days ever.

Disney sweats for me. 

Hail Mary

We got to go to the cougars' first home game of the season and it started off spectacularly but then we fell pretty behind in the second and third quarters. But with under a minute left on the clock we managed to complete a hail Mary and pull ahead. But they didn't stop there. With seconds left one of the players caught an interception and ran it back 50 yards for a touchdown! The student section was going nuts & everyone rushed the field at the end of the game.

It was pretty spectacular and we may or may not have gotten a bit hoarse because of it.

August

August was so much fun. We had more outdoor games with the projector and I failed to mention it but Kellan made a new sensor for the Wii controllers so they could sit farther back outside and still play. It was very impressive.

We also hit up the farmers market on a regular basis after the temple and our favorite thing to pick up was pickling cucumbers. We got Obsessed. But they are so simple to make & so delish so can you really blame us?

We only have a few jars left & Kellan ate a whole pint in the space of an hour just last week. 

My mom & Jim stayed with us the last weekend of August because Jim's grandson was giving his farewell talk. Of course we had to take them to some of our favorite downtown eateries. This was their first time having Indian food or liege waffles. My love for Bruges still lives strong. 

We also had to stop & peer in at the new Provo City Center temple. It's nearly done!

July Photos

This is another retroactive photo dump & I honestly don't remember too much of it but that's what this is for. So I don't forget more.

I decided I really wanted some fun outdoor things so we got ourselves a projector & made an outdoor screen. Then of course we needed something to lounge on while we watched those outdoor movies so Kellan made me the coolest double lounge chair that has adjustable reclining. Say what?! Yeah he's basically the best. Oh and he made it in two days. Yeah. 

I have to get the pictures from my old phone or Kellan's, but here it is in action. 

Sarah & Jordan were staying with us on their way back from Rexburg so we went swimming & then the boys wanted to play Call of Duty on the big screen before we could watch Mulan. 

We hit up the library a lot in the summer. There was also an art exhibit of the Golden Books. It was so fun to get to go and look around in the Attic. 

& we also got callings in April to be temple workers at the Provo Temple! It's been amazing and we have so much fun working every Thursday. 

Also random photo from April, but I think it's too funny to not have saved somewhere. Shelby & I were Facetiming because I'm her favorite aunt obviously, and while I was chatting with her I watch her grab and pen and then do this. 

Needless to say I busted up laughing & she of course kept doing it so I had to screenshot it quickly. Enjoy. 

Easter Eggs

We went up to Salt Lake to watch General Conference with Camillia's family & brought up some egg dye for Shelby.

She kept asking for turtles so of course we obliged and if you look closely you can see egg she tried to write her name on...it got crushed.
